WebI've often seen this community comment on how cultists (and even dragons!) can get old after awhile, if they're faced encounter after encounter. Fizban's has some great mid-CR creatures that are vary from the "classic" dragon. I plan on using Animated Breaths (p. 163; probably in Arauthator's lair) and many others.
