The reading you see here should be around 500 to 1500 ohms and the reading should be steady as the wires are wiggled. If the coil fails either test, replace the pick up coil. There's a condensor on the wiring harness, get a new one or just a new GM wire harness. If that condensor is bad or weak it may allow the module to see voltage spikes from the coil.
