Webb6 okt. 2024 · No real knowledge of the 50-140, but I rechambered a H&R Buffalo Classic to 45-120. A worthwhile project as long as I shot black powder. Unfortunately I mostly shot smokeless and it was a waste there. I had a big ole’ case with a tiny bit of powder held against the primer with kapok. Should of left it a 45-70. WebbBoth the original Sharps Rifle Company .50-70 (1) and a Remington-UMC .50-70 (2) have 450-grain bullets. Mike’s handloads include a (3) Lyman 515141 bullet and a (4) RCBS 50-450-FN bullet. Remington only chambered for one .50 cartridge. That was the .50 with a 1.75-inch case length, otherwise known as the .50-70.
